Jan. 30th, 2013 03:15 pmMost of my F-list has been doing this, so I have no idea who I really snagged it from first. But I've added a number of new friends on both journals, so I thought I should post something like this, so my new friends have some vague idea of who I am. I jacked this, and am copying it because I am bored.
How did you come to start your LJ? It was for old hollywood, I had a ton of friends, so.. I wanted to add them all and talk to them.
How did you find your first friends? I was shy about adding friends but i posted in addme comms.
Are those first friends still on your FL? Some of them are, but they no longer post.
How long have you been on LJ?
Since 2006.
Do you have more friends or communities on your FL?
They are pretty even right now.
Do you do a lot of friends cuts?
No that's stupid.
What do you like in an LJ friend?
I tend to like friends who share my interests and fandoms, and who post interesting things, and are not dramatic in anyway. I like people who I can relate to, and comment :).
What do you dislike in an LJ friend? I don't like anyone judgmental. For either side of the spectrum. It's annoying, if you say you aren't judgmental, and you judge another side of what you don't believe in, then you are being judgmental. I don't like that at all.
What would make you un-friend someone immediately? If someone was being cruel about something that I didn't particularly agree with.
Have you been caught up in a lot of LJ drama?
Nope. I want to keep it that way too.
Do real-life friends and family members know you have a journal on LJ?
Yes, My mom knows I have a journal, but she knows I am a writer anyways so she's cool with it. I tell her everything anyways, I have nothing to hide. I like to be real.
Do you also have Facebook and if so, what do you prefer – LJ or FB? I like both, sometimes I think Facebook is more for show, and bragging though so I tend to keep some opinions and thoughts to myself when it comes to facebook statuses.
What about Twitter?
I heart twitter. A LOT.
Do you blog on any other sites?
Tumblr. Susanapplegate.tumblr.com :)
How often do you check in on LJ? all the time. Well more so dreamwidth than LJ LJ is basically dead, and I hate the new way they have it.
What do you rarely or never post about?
Politics. I don't have the same view as most people do on this site so I keep my opinions to myself.

Have you ever thought about deleting your journal?
No, because I've never seen any reason to. I have a DW in case I decide to migrate, but I'm happy on LJ.
Have you ever changed your username?
No, but I may..
Why did you choose your current username?
I LOVE Moulin Rouge, and Nicole Kidman so this username was fitting for me.
If you're looking for new friends, how do you find them?
I love making friends in fandom. I have a lot of things I am a fan of, so that is where I normally go.
Are you taking new people on to your Friends List just now?
Absolutely!
Finally, tell us the reasons why you keep an online journal.
I just like to write, and keep lists of things, make friends, and see what other people like/dislike and how other people tick.
